the Scientific E-Conference
The Modern Slavic World
We would like to
have a closer look at current trends and phenomena happening in individual
Slavic languages, literatures and cultures - whether and how do they reflect changes
and reality of the 21st century, how is an intercultural dialogue shaped,
what interactions appear among the languages, whether and what new literary
genres are gaining popularity, and how is the borderland shaped as a multidimensional
category.
The e-conference will take
place on the online platform.
Deadline for applications and
abstracts: October 17th, 2016
Announcement of the list of
participants of the e-conference: October 18th, 2016
Deadline for payment of the
conference fee: October 25th, 2016
Deadline for providing the
scientific article: November 15th, 2016
Deadline for providing
articles including the reviewers' comments: November 31st, 2016
Publishing of the monograph in
an electronic form: December 15th, 2016
A scientific
article (text in *.doc or *.rtf, the languages of the conference are all Slavic
languages as well as English) should be sent to the following e-mail address:
kferuga@ath.bielsko.pl or aostrowska@ath.bielsko.pl. The conference fee is PLN
100/EUR 27 (the bank account number is provided on the website, at "payments"
tab). The articles, after a positive review, will be published on www.konferencjabielsko.blogspot.com (this page
contains also all the information about the e-conference, payments, technical
requirements and publishing of the texts). Upon registering at the
website, each of the participants will gain the possibility of taking part
in a discussion on the published articles (below all of them). We strongly encourage you to
discussion/exchange views/publish comments or thoughts.
After the e-conference,
the articles will be forwarded to be published in a scientific monograph
under the ISBN number, published in the form of
an e-book. Therefore, please provide the following form: volume: min. 20 000 characters, font: Times New Roman, size: 12 (abstract in English: 10), A-4 format, 2.5 cm margins, 1.5 line spacing.
